Want to Stay Permanently?
Employer Sponsorship
The Skilled Independent Visa allows highly skilled professionals & trade workers who are under 45ys of age, not sponsored by an employer, State or Territory Government of Australia, or family member, to live and work indefinitely in Australia.
You must first have an eligible occupation and meet the minimum point score of 65 points, on the general skilled migration points test.
You may also be nominated by an Australia State or territory government for permanent or a provisional to permanent visa option
There are several pathways for you to work for an employer in Australia, from a 2 year or 4 year temporary visa, which may lead to permanent residency after you have been working for that employer for 3 years and applying for the permanent visa before you turn 45 years of age, or you may be fortunate enough to be offered a permanent residency at the outset of your relationship with your employer.
Either way, if you have an employer willing to sponsor you for a temporary or permanent Visa, do ask us to check if you meet all eligibility first.
