 Working Holiday Visa 

 

The Working holiday Visa  (WHV)  is  for  those aged 18-30 yrs with no dependent children For passport holders of approved countries including the UK . 

 

Exciting News from November 2018 Irish &  Canadian citizens can apply up to  and including age 35yrs.

 

 The WHV is  designed  as a ‘try before you buy’ experience of what Australia has to offer, then for you to go home and obtain qualifications  &  work experience and  apply to go back as a skilled migrant.

You may love it so much and  be lucky to find an employer willing to sponsor you during your trip and need not leave Australia at all!

 

It is valid for 12 months, you can work for one employer for up  to six months and apply for second WHV if you meet certain criteria while holding the first WHV.

Want to Stay Permanently ?

 

The Skilled Independent Visa allows highly skilled  professionals &  trade workers who are under 45ys of age, not sponsored by an employer, State or Territory Government of Australia, or family member, to live and work indefinitely  in Australia. 

 

You must first have an eligible occupation and  meet the minimum point score of 65 points, on the general skilled migration  points  test. 

You may also be nominated by an Australia State or territory government  for permanent or  a provisional to permanent visa option

Employer Sponsorship

There are several pathways for you to work for an employer in Australia, from a 2 year or 4 year temporary visa, which may lead to permanent residency after  you have been working for that employer for 3 years and applying  for the permanent visa before you turn 45 years of age, or you may be fortunate enough to be offered permanent residency at the outset of your relationship with your employer .
 Either way if you have  an employer willing to sponsor you for a temporary or permanent Visa  do ask ask us to check  you meet all eligibility first
